I love this time of year. The children are filled with such excitement with the spirit of Christmas. We have been playing Christmas carols in class and anticipating where Sally, our Elf on the Shelf, will turn up next.
Even though this is the last week before break we are busy.
We are making a special Christmas craft that will be coming home in the book bags. So, be on the look out.
We are finishing up an Advent poster we have been working on for the last three weeks. That will be coming home as well.
The school is collecting new or gently used baby items for Birth Rite. These gifts will be presented by the children who bring them in during Mass on Wednesday.
Dress Down Passes are coming home with each child because no one in our class has attended Homework Helpers this quarter!
Pizza Hut coupons are coming home this week, too.
There will be the regular Word Journal vocabulary and math homework this week.
We are looking forward to VLC's presentation of A Journey to Bethlehem on Thursday and the Christmas Party on Friday.
