Week Two

I am impressed with the children.  They are setting in to the routine.  They work and play well together. We are off to a great start.

There are a few children bringing water bottles to school for drink breaks in the classroom.  With the hot weather and the strep starting, I am fine with that.  I do want to remind parents to send a healthy snack each day.  A few of the children forgot today.

There is a new list of Word Journal vocabulary coming home in the book bags tonight.  Have your child read the words to you.  When they can read then without any help, sign the page and send the notebook back to school.  Due:  Wednesday, August 27.
