Report cards are in the book bags tonight. There is no special day set aside for conferences this quarter. If you would like to meet, I am available most days after school and would be glad to meet with you. Send me a note or email and I will get a time scheduled.
We have a number line in our class room counting the days we are in school. They are getting so good at math now they have figured out the number of school days is dwindling fast. So, we talked about how there aren't nearly as many days of school yet, but the hardest part of first grade is yet to come. So staying focused is important.
There is a new list of Word Journal Vocabulary. Go over the words with your child and have the notebook back signed by Thursday this week.
We will have the spelling pretest on Thursday with the final test on Friday. Y as the long vowel sound of i is the focus this week.
