Wow, the children did very well on the first spelling test. They were a little apprehensive with it being something new. But, no one cried or got upset, including me! If you did not see the spelling test in the book bag last night, ask about it tonight. There are a few children who will be getting a second chance to take the test and spell all the words correct.
A teal colored piece of paper with questions for parents to fill out about Catholic education will be coming home this evening. Please fill it out and return quickly. The classes are being offered incentives for full participation. The information you send in will be used for the upcoming celebration of Catholic Schools Week.
Be on the look out for the Friday Journal this week. We will continue with that activity.
In just these few days, we are back in the routine. It feels good to be back with the children.
