This Is It!

 It is Blast Off Day tomorrow. The first day of school the students asked, "When is Summer Blast Off?"  This is it.  The day has arrived.  Here are just a few reminders to help make the day go smoothly.  There is a lot of outside time in the morning.  So, get out the sun screen and apply before the children come to school.  There is not going to be lunch served in the cafeteria.  You can purchase BBQ for your child.  But, you will have to go to Father Ahrens Room, purchase the meal and bring it to your child.  We will be eating in the garden area at 11:00 along with many of the other grades.  If you want to send a lunch prepared at home be sure to include napkins, a drink and silverware.  Those items will not be available with the cafeteria kitchen closed.
We had a great Awards Day.  Be sure to look in the book bags tonight for the Memory Book I have kept for them all year.  There are certificates for Taco Bell.  If you child took part in the Six Flags Reading Program, those tickets are in there, too. The many awards they have received are in there as well.  We celebrated out success today and we all ate lunch in the garden together.  It was a fun day for me!
