Happy Monday to everyone! With the long weekend behind us, this week is packed with lots of exciting things to do.
First and foremost, tomorrow is a dress down day for those who donate a dollar to the Boxes of Joy Program. To be clear, it is not a day to wear your Halloween costume.
We will visit the Vogelweid Haunted House in the morning. And then, at 2:15, we have the Halloween Party. The children are so excited.
In Religion, we talked about Halloween and why we celebrate it. We talked about November 1st as a Holy Day focusing on the Saints. I read stories today about St Rose of Lima and St Jerome. We will continue to do that every day this week.
We will continue with the usual, a new list of Word Journal vocabulary. There will be math homework every night this week except for Tuesday.
We are off school next Monday, November 6, for a Teacher In Service Day.
