It is a busy week. The children are already talking about the Halloween Party on Wednesday at 2:15. With the many activities planned for that evening, there will be no homework assigned.
Thursday is All Saints Day and a Holy Day of Obligation. The children will attend Mass that day at 1:45. Parents may attend. The policy states no homework on Holy Days of Obligation. So, that makes two nights in a row this week there will be no homework assigned!
There will be math homework on Monday and Tuesday of this week. There is also a new list of Word Journal vocabulary coming home in the book bag. Please go over those words at home until your child knows them with little hesitation. On some of those sight words, that's the only way to learn them, repetition.
I sent home a Scholastic Book Order last week. Please have those in by next Wednesday,
November 7. This is the last book order I will do before Christmas. So if your are looking for books as gifts or stocking stuffers, now is the time to order.
Thank you for meeting with me to conference about your child and their progress. I am amazed how much they have learned and how independent they are becoming.
