Final Stretch

 This is it. We are in the final stretch, six weeks with five days in each week.  There's lots of learning left to do.  So, no "taking it easy" now.

The big reminders for this week are early dismissal on Tuesday at 1:15.  For traffic control on the big flat, please have your child picked up before 1:30. Don't forget it is a Dress Down Day.  Wednesday the children can wear red for the March for Life rally at the Capitol.  Students may attend with their parents and it will be an excused absence.   

We had the big pizza party last Thursday for three million words in the Reading Counts Program.  Mrs. Trachsel and Mr. Veit attended with lots of praise and encouragement.  Mrs. Trachsel promised a surprise if they reach 4 million words by the end of the school year.  They are even more motivated now.

There is a new list of High-Frequency Words this week, due back signed on Thursday.  There will continue to be math homework and nightly reading this week.
