The cans for the food drive contests with the other schools are mounting up in the front hallway. Now we have been challenged by our principal, Mrs. Trachsel.
Friday, 10-3, for every child who brings in 6 cans of food, they receive a dress down pass for Monday, 10-5. That's a big deal to the children so try not to forget that tonight.
Next Tuesday, 10-6, the grade that brings in the most cans wins 30 minutes of extra recess!!
And on Thursday, 10-8, if 500 cans of food are brought in that day, Mr Veit and Mrs. Trachsel will KISS A REAL LIVE PIG!!!!!
Even bigger yet, if St Peter wins the contests against all the other schools, the entire school gets a dress down pass for a WEEK!
There is a flyer in the book bags tonight, so keep it posted it in clear view and remember to send in the cans.
On a completely different note, you may have seen the practice tests in the book bag last night. We took those last week in preparation for the standardized tests this week. Those are for you to look over with your child and get an idea of what we have been doing this week. We officially, have finished the standardized testing today. We celebrated by watching Charlotte's Web while enjoying popcorn and juice boxes.
