Moving Along

We are moving right along with this first grade curriculum.  Don't forget to practice the contraction conversions.  You may have noticed on the math pages, the space shapes of cube, cone, rectangular prism, cylinder and sphere.  The students will be tested over those for report card, too.  We have practice recognition of coins on the math papers throughout the year.  Some of the children are mixing up the nickels, dimes and the quarters.  It may take a bit more practice at home  for them with that recognition. 

There are new Word Journal Words, a new list of spelling words and math for homework this week.

Tomorrow is an early dismissal day at 1:30 and a dress down day for all!
