Report Card FYI

The students will be evaluated on contraction conversions for a report card grade.  This is a tough concept for some of them.  So, pages from the phonics book are being sent home with your child in the FISH Folder for review.  The page numbers are 293, 294, 295 and 296.  (will, are, not and is)  There are colored boxes at the top of the pages with two words that make the contraction.  I had the children mark the pages with KEEP Know For REPORT CARD. I will give them the contraction and they will have to tell me the TWO WORDS that make up the contraction.  You may have noticed the spelling list this week is made up from the words in the colored boxes on these phonics pages.
