Today the LAST list of new Word Journal vocabulary is coming home in the notebook. Listen to your child read the words. Sign it and return it by Thursday of this. Now reflect back on the first list of Word Journal vocabulary your child brought home this year. It is amazing how well they are reading. This is why I love teaching First Grade. Now don't think you are finished with notebook. Go through it this summer and review those words to help them stay on reading level and ready for second grade.
There will be math homework every night this week. The Spelling pretest is Thursday and the final test is Friday.
Finally the weather is nice and we are going to do some of our lessons in the garden this week!
