We had a great start to a new year. I was excited to meet all of you at the open house. The anticipation of a new school year stays with me even after 32 years of teaching.
Things went very well today, too. No one cried or had a melt down, including the teacher!
Please check the FISH Folder for messages from me. Some of the children need to have their first name or initials put on each individual crayon and marker. It is so helpful to have each one labeled when the art boxes fall to the floor.
One other reminder, please send a snack with your child each day. Thank you to Mrs. Hulsey for sending the box of Ritz crackers today so that all of the children could have something for snack.
Tomorrow is the Feast of the Assumption and a Holy Day of Obligation. So there will not be any homework. Thursday there will be some math homework. Friday is a Spirit Wear Day.
