Here are a few reminders for this week.

There will be NO SCHOOL on Friday, September 28.  

There is a new list of Word Journal vocabulary coming home in the book bag tonight.  I suggest taking time to go over the last three lists of words in that notebook.  Those words are on the reading workbook pages from one week to the next.  If your child is not familiar with the words they will not be able to do the reading workbook pages independently.  Each student will be tested over all the words from the beginning of the notebook for a report card grade.

There will be math homework every night this week.

The chart in the classroom is filling up.  Every night your child takes a book home from the classroom and reads it to you, then returns it to school the next day with your initials, they get a sticker on the chart. So don't forget to initials the book log.
