2.7 Million

2.7 million is a lot.  But is it really a lot when you start counting words.  Which is just what the Reading Counts program does for me.  It keeps track of the word count of each and every book the students read and pass. As of today we have 2.7 million words collectively from all the book we have tested over and passed.  That breaks any record from any class I have taught using the Reading Counts Program.  It was a real team effort.  So we are going to celebrate this Friday with a class pizza party.  I am so proud of them. There are still 4 more days left in the program and that 2.7 million could go up even more!
Big Change, the 1:30 early dismissal is the first Tuesday of the month in May.  That means it is tomorrow.  So send them in dress down clothes and pick them up early unless they are in After School Care.
There will be math homework every night this week.
