I hope you enjoyed the nice long break with your children. I was so glad to see their smiling faces this morning. One little girl greeted me with, "I missed this place" as she walked in the classroom.
We spent time today talking about the Feast of the Epiphany. Ask them about the prayer service.
We also talked about the new year and how the calendar months rotate. Ask them to sing the Month Macarena for you.
Report cards are finished and being reviewed by Mrs Trachsel. They will go home this Friday. Please use the form in the report card envelope to sign up for a conference. Then return the the form in the signed report card envelope on Monday, January 13.
The homework routine is the same. The High Frequency Word Journal is in the book bag this evening. Study the page with your child, sign it and return it to school on Thursday.
there should be a book coming home each evening for your child to read to you. Be sure to sign the booklog so they can get a sticker on the classroom chart. There will be math homework Monday through Thursday each night this week.
