Catholic Schools Week

Just a few friendly reminders about CSW.
Monday, Today was awesome.  We started with the Chocolate Assembly.  Then we had a prayer service.  Next was dodge ball with the kindergarten and second grade. After that, we spent time with our fifth grade buddies.  After lunch, we saw fantastic performance from the Helias music students.
We did have time to do a math lesson.  So, there is math homework tonight.  But, there will not be a new list of High Frequency Words this week.  Check the FISH Folder for the Mission Carnival ticket pre-order form.
Tuesday, 1-28  is a Dress Down Day wearing some purple to coordinate with our Fifth Grade buddies.  The students may buy a snack from the snack cart for 50 cents rather than bringing a snack from home. Have it in a baggie marked with their name.  There will be math homework this evening as well.
Wednesday, 1-29 is the Volunteer Appreciation luncheon.  Contact Mrs. Garner if you want to attend.  There will be math homework tonight, too.
Thursday, 1-30 is a Spirit Wear Day.  It is also the Family Fun Night Mission Carnival in the school from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Don't forget to pre-order your tickets.  NO HOMEWORK
Friday, 1-31 is a Dress Down Day and students are encourage to wear Chiefs apparel or red.
Friday is the 100th Day of School, if we don't have anymore snow days.  Please send 100 pieces of a small item in a plastic baggie for a fun math activity. example, beads, buttons, paper clips, pennies. We have had a parent volunteer to bring a special 100th Day snack for the morning.
 Also, students may buy a drink and/or snack for the Students vs. the Faculty Volleyball game.  each item purchased is $1.00.  So, it would be $2.00 total for a drink and a snack.

*** There was a book called HORNED DINOSAURS from the Missouri River Regional Library returned to our classroom with the school library books.  None of the children recognize it as something they have read at home.  I am hoping a parent will see this and claim it.
***I sent a group email on Saturday to the email address parents chose at registration to receive school communications.  If you did not get it, please let me know.
