It seems so long ago we had a full five-day week. Hopefully, we will have another one this week.
The routine stays the same with math and reading a book each night for homework. There is a new list of High-Frequency words due back this Thursday, 3-4.
The days with the children just seem to fly by. They work so hard and are just soaking up the information. I love to see their little minds at work. There are just a few re-evaluations to do and report cards for the third quarter will be finished.
There 174 days of school each year. We count the days of school forward up to the 100th day. Then, we start on 74 and count backward down to zero. Ask your child how many school days are left in their first-grade year.
