WOW, everyone in the class got all of the spelling words correct on the pretest today. I am impressed. The entire class has earned a bit of free time on Friday morning.
Next week is packed full of activities. I wanted to outline just a few that will need a little extra planning on your part.
Monday be ready for a special greeting on the parking lot as you drop your child off in the morning.
Tuesday is the Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast. We have great volunteers parents in our classroom. So as you drop your child off in the morning, come join us for breakfast in the Selinger Cafeteria.
That day the students may also dress up as a super hero or a saint. No face paint or masks. If the costume has shorts or a skirt, leggings or tights must be worn, too.
Wednesday is Family Fun Night for the first grade in MLG from 6:00 to 6:45 pm.
Thursday is a dress down day for all.
Friday is the 8th grade vs the Faculty in volleyball. The children may $2.00 to buy one snack and one drink to enjoy while they watch the faculty beat the 8th grade at volleyball.
