Busy Full Week

This is the first full week of school in six weeks and it is packed with activities.
Tomorrow is the 100th Day of School.  We will have a small celebration in class and do fun activities to reinforce the concept of just how many 100 really is.  Mrs. Trachsel will be coming in to join us, too.  Some of the children have brought in the 100 food items.  I would like all the children to participate in the activities, so please send in the items with your child tomorrow if you haven't already.
Wednesday is the first grade Mass.  Practice went well today.  Please join us at 1:45 in church.  The children sound so beautiful proclaiming the word of God. 
I sent home a book order last week.  If you would like to purchase books, have the order completed and turned in by this Friday, 1-25.
There is a new list of Word Journal Vocabulary coming home in the book bag. There is also a new list of spelling words.  This week the pretest is Wednesday with the final test on Friday.  There are two pages of math homework tonight.  If all goes as planned, there will be math homework every night this week.
Keep reading those books every night.  So many of the children are just a few points away from getting their name on the bulletin board!
