Very good, everyone followed directions and did the Google homework activity. The practice is good just in case we need it in the future. It is especially helpful for the children because Google Classroom is regularly used in grades three through eight. So it is just not a program for at-home learning, the older students use it in class as well.
Tomorrow is a great day of celebration here at school. We have made it through nearly five weeks of school with masks, social distancing, disinfecting, extra hand washing, hand sanitizer, water bottles, lunch in the classroom, the list just keeps on going. So, Mrs. Trachsel has given everyone a Dress Down Day. We will also be having a picnic lunch.
The children may bring a beach towel small enough for them to carry over their shoulders while carrying their lunch. We are going to go outside on the property and spread out the towel to sit on while we eat the hotdogs Mr. Veit is grilling for lunch. I have been reading Charlotte's Web to the children. They sit so still and listen so carefully while I read to them. We finished the book today. So, tomorrow afternoon we are going to watch the movie. Hip, Hip Hooray!
